Tents

Miller’s Grand Events offers many different size tents to accommodate any sized party. Sizes range from 10' x 10' up to 40' x 120'. We also carry two different styles of tents.

Frame Tents
Frame tents rely on a frame structure for the actual tent top to be placed on. The frame tent is more versatile on where it can be installed. We have adjustable legs that allow installation on unlevel ground. It can also be anchored down by several different methods that allow installation on surfaces other than just grass. Another advantage of a frame tent is the flexibility to put it over objects that might obstruct the installation of a pole tent. The frame tent is also free from center poles under the tent which allows full utilization of space. The cost of a frame tent is a little more expensive compared to a pole tent because of the installation time and the need for more parts during installation.

Pole Tents
Pole tents use tension provided by staking all the perimeter poles to hold the tent up, and it uses center poles to create the top of the tent. Because stakes have to be used all the way around the tent to secure it, installation is more limited than a frame tent. Also, the area in which the tent is going to be put up needs to be level. A level area is a must for a pole tent. If it is installed on an unlevel location it can cause the tent to bag or not pull tight. Center poles do take up a little room under the tent. Be creative and find a way to integrate them into the design of the party. They can become a prop for lighting and decorations, and it becomes a positive factor in determining which style of tent will be needed for your event.

Accessories

Lighting
We offer several ways to light up your event. From simple globe lighting to colored nylon lanterns, chandeliers or New Orleans-style street lamps, Miller’s Grand Events will help you create the look and feel you want.

Heating and Cooling
Miller’s Grand Events stocks a variety of heaters and cooling units to make your event comfortable in any type of weather. Ranging from standard patio heaters to forced air heaters, we’ll keep you warm during those unexpected cold nights. We also have 42” box fans and misters to keep you cool during those steamy summer days.

Staging
Our Biljax stage comes in 4' x 4' sections, including arched pieces for circular staging and can vary in height. Skirting and carpeting available.

Dance Floors
“Miller’s Grand Events carries two styles of dance floors.  Our Black & White dance floor comes in 2’x2’ sections and allows up to a 20’x24’ space. 

Our Black Marble dance floor, also in 2’x2’ sections allows up to a 20’x20’ space.”
